Correlation of Stress and Gratitude by Holy Bilal

Stress and anxiety are not bad at all, without such things the survival of humans wouldn’t have possible. Ego, stress and problems are things to embrace; it was ego that saved the Napoleon’s life and it was the dawn of stress that made our ancestors of caves judge the potential of jeopardy. Stress is basically a respond our body pick and our mind release certain hormones which shut down unnecessarily functions and give strength to muscles responsible for flight and fight. For a temporary being it act as some drug like Methaphetamine, the problems arise when body get used to it.

In modern era this natural beautiful phenomena still helps you e.g you accidentally get in contact with iron and you pull it back or when you touch the electric wire and suddenly pull back your body without mere thinking of it.

But being in the condition of stress without any reason is the problem, as in such condition of stress the blood run through only in most important muscles and minimized the functionality of brain. And if we kept if such stress for long period our body’s natural mechanism will shut down or will stop responding and cause to fatal death.

As I told you this stress is natural mechanism to fight or flight in danger, and it release and channel the great energy. And now imagine when that energy stuck in nervous system as well not being used; further more this process repeats again and again.

There are ways to release stress and entrapped energy in our nervous system jamming our power to ponder. Meditation is one of them, as mediation makes the mind channel its pathways and reach to its original un-affected pattern. Continual stress makes such pattern of mind which produces stress hormones in norms. So meditation breaks that pattern of stress, 2nd most important thing to break this stress pattern is breathing practice.

Get yourself in unfamiliar place and focus on your breathing. Sit up straight, eyes closed, with a hand on your belly. Slowly inhale through your nose, feeling the breath start in your abdomen and work its way to the top of your head. Reverse the process as you exhale through your mouth. Try to be in now, reach out the jovial people, and get yourself in physical activity.

And gratitude little things in your life, gratitude has miracle impacts on our lives. Gratitude doesn't ask that we enchant in every moment of our lives. It doesn't call for us to look or everything okay or to turn negative into positive. It doesn't make us deny our feelings of stress or frustration.

Gratitude simply asks that while we allow for ourselves to feel what we feel we also don't take for granted the many miracles that make our daily experience possible, that we focus in on what we cherish within what might be sledding wrong.
